Have you ever been stressed out? Well, do something about your stress else this can happen to you. And it's terrifying... very terrifying!
Have you ever had an experience where your mind is awake, but your body is still sleeping? If not you are one of the lucky ones.
This condition is known as SLEEP PARALYSIS.
Wikipedia defines it as:
"Sleep paralysis is a phenomenon in which an individual, either during falling asleep or awakening, briefly experiences an inability to move, speak, or react. This is a transitional state between wakefulness and sleep, characterized by an inability to move muscles.
It is often accompanied by terrifying hallucinations to which one is unable to react due to paralysis, and physical experiences (such as strong current running through the upper body). These hallucinations often involve a person or supernatural creature suffocating or terrifying the individual, accompanied by a feeling of pressure on one's chest and difficulty breathing."
This condition is very common and on the rise in this high paced life. Often the brain awakens itself as it is stressed out but the body keeps on sleeping as it's in rest mode. You are aware that you are awake, your limbs are not under your control, and you feel trapped inside your body.
There are no movements, no voice and you are also hit by a high-intensity panic attack as you are unsure of when it will end? The experience can go on from a few seconds to a few minutes.
Can you imagine how bad it would be?
I can imagine, I have faced it first hand! And I am going to tell you what to do if it ever happens to you...
