Well, it's true!

Juices are unhealthy, and there is a much better alternative available!

Why are juices unhealthy?

When you take out the juice of any fruit or vegetable, only a part of nutrients and water content are there in the juice. You lose all the important fiber from fruits and vegetables that are absolutely essential for your body and is needed to maintain a healthy metabolism.

How much fibre do you need?

The amount you need is tied to the number of calories you eat in a day. For healthy adults, the USDA recommends 14 grams of fiber for every 1,000 calories consumed. So a person eating 2,000 calories a day should aim to get 28 grams of fiber daily.

So whenever you are drinking juice, you are only getting a quarter of benefits from your drink. You won't be even completing your fiber requirements that are absolutely necessary for your body!

So what's the alternative?

Drink Smoothies!

Drinking smoothies is much more healthier as it not only provides all the nutrients and fibre but also provides all the nutrients that the fruits or vegetables are supposed to deliver to you.

Smoothies are also much easier to make! If you think that they would be harder to drink, follow recipes and combinations that are easily consumable. Many juices have artificial flavors or sugar added to them to enhance their taste or preserve them for a longer shelf life. If you consume any outside product like juices, smoothies, etc. make sure that they are natural and free from preservatives as you don't need to add any chemicals and harmful substances in your diet routine.

It's always best to take out time and prepare these drinks for yourself to ensure purity!
